Mile post. C19. Cast iron and gritstone. Approximately 80 centimetres high,
triangular in section with round head. Inscriptions: head - 'Knaresboro and
Wetherby Road'. Left face - 'Wetherby 5 Miles'. Right face - 'Knaresboro 2
Miles'. The iron plate is attached to the stone support by 2 bolts through the
head.
