west side of Goldsborough
Hall

Sundial. C19. By C. W. Dixey of London. Stone and bronze. Circular base,
3-sided shaft, overall height approximately 1.2 metres. The shaft has
elaborate deeply-carved decoration composed of C-scrolls, acanthus leaves
and strap-work. The plate has an inscription: 'C. W. Dixey London'.
