Milepost. Early-mid C19. Cast-iron post of triangular section, hollow-backed with
sloping top plate. Raised lettering reads:
on top plate, 'LONDON 217'
on left plate, 'EASINGWOLD' (mileage removed);
on right plate, 'THIRSK 3'.
