Farmhouse and cottage, now as one. Mid-late C18, two builds.
Evenly coursed squared tooled sandstone; pantiled roof with stone
ridge, copings, kneelers and stacks.
Main house 2 storeys, 3 bays, symmetrical. Lower cottage at right
2 storeys, 3 wider bays, the 2 right bays being the addition.
Alternating quoins. House has half-glazed door with low 2-pane
overlight. Blank panel above painted trompe l'oeil as a 12-pane
sash. Flanking replaced 16-pane sashes on both floors. All
openings have extended lintels with tall projecting keystones.
Cottage has 4-panel door at left of extension and a 3-light modern
casement under a similar lintel in older bay. Plain 2-light modern
casement above and at first floor centre; C19 two-light casement
below this. Right end bay has Yorkshire sashes. Fairly high-
pitched roofs, the main house slightly swept, with narrow curved
kneelers and cornice-banded end chimneys. Cottage has a square
kneeler at right and a short plain chimney.
