Southern Garden Wall at the Vicarage

A Grade II Listed Building in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire

Vicarage gateway in St Helens churchyard wall, Ashby de la Zouch

Uploader's Comments

The wall is eight courses higher at the arch. Two pairs of cast concrete coping stones, each stone of 45 degree curve, accomplish the rise. The gateway has been blocked with recycled bricks of a later date than the wall. They are slightly fatter. The bond pattern of the bricks in the wall has not been preserved in the infill.
