GV II

House. Late C16 to rear right, late C18 across front with C20 extensions
to rear right. Timber framed core, exposed right hand return front and
centre with whitewashed brick infill, mortar rendered and colourwashed
sandstone rubble across front with red and brown brick dressings. Plain
tiled roofs hipped to front. Two parallel ranges to front with wing at
right angles to rear right linking to further parallel range on right
half to rear. Two storeys with brick dentilled eaves to front. Large
ridge stack to centre of rear older range, valley stack to left and
further end stack on extension to rear right. Regular facade with casement
fenestration of two 3-light windows on the the first floor either end,
one 2-light window to centre in front of recessed roundel window. Two
3-light ground floor windows, all under gauged brick heads. Central
half-glazed double doors to stone and wood panelled, hipped roof porch
with double, panelled, outer doors.

Right hand return front: framed section to centre exposed with pentice
roof "cross" window, extension to ground floor. Large gable projecting to
right, C20 framed extension on brick underbuild to right end. Rear
stack to right and large ridge tack to gabled bay.

Interior: some panelling, C20 Georgian style staircase. Windbracing in
roof of rear range exposed.
