House. Late C16 with C19 alterations and C20 extensions to rear. Timber
framed with sandstone cladding to front and brick dressings to windows
and corners, frame exposed on cross wing with rendered infill and red
brick infilling on sandstone plinths; plain tiled roofs. T shaped plan
with long wing at right angles to rear left, diagonal double end stacks to
rear right and fine corbelled double end stack to rear right of centre.
Two storeys with plat band over ground floor to left and centre. Regular
front to left with five 3-light leaded, wood-framed, casement windows to
first floor under gauged brick heads with diamond patterning in intervening
brickwork between second and third window to left. Bonding course of
brick running down from each first floor window to plat band. Two smaller
ground floor windows to left and larger two windows to right under gauged
brick heads. Gabled cross wing to right, jettied on first floor with
moulded bressumer and tiled pentice course. Close stud framing to ground
floor with ogee bracing and decorative semi-circular framing in gable.
One casement window on each floor. Ribbed door to centre left in quoined
brick surround with flat hood on metal brackets over. Wing to rear left:
triple ridge stack and sandstone walling.

Interior: framing visible, mainly on ceilings.
