Late C16 half H-shaped house with the central space filled. 3-storey gable-ended
wings. 2-storey centre with lower eaves level. High pitched tiled roofs with
widely sprocketed eaves. 3 wide bays in all. Compound ridge stack largely rebuilt.
Walls now roughcast with bands at 1st and 2nd floor levels, stepped down over
central door to follow slope of hill. (This suggests an C18 re-fronting of a
timber-framed building on more than one level). Modern leaded casements. 2 modern
doors at centre and right, the former under small, bracketed hood.
