The impressive three-staged tower of the parish church of St. Anne, Brown Edge. The tower and spire feature some interesting architectural features. The 'Zig-Zag' frieze has a row of grotesque head corbels beneath it. The gargoyles can be seen jutting out prominently from the tower. The Lucarnes in the spire have crouched beasts topping them and the stonework of the spire is scalloped in imitation of tiles. Photo taken 10/03/15 looking South-East.
