Shop with storage. Mid C19. Stucco to front; roof covering not
visible behind parapet; no stacks visible.
3 storeys with single 9-light window full width of first floor
with round-section mullions with moulded bases and tops
forming arcade with segmental head to each light. Second floor
has four C19 horned plate-glass sashes in flat chamfered
surrounds. Ground floor has C20 plate glass shopfront and C20
four-panel door in C19 timber surround with reeded pilaster
strips, console brackets to frieze and moulded cornice.
Panelled pilaster strips flanking first floor, moulded cornice
over first floor windows with recessed panel above, enriched
moulded cornice over forming cill band to second floor
windows. Bracketed cornice over second floor windows with
recessed panel above; bracketed eaves cornice and coped
parapet with recessed panels and 3 panelled dies.
INTERIOR has C19 closed string stick baluster staircase in
straight flight from ground to first floor; C19 glazed screen
forming office at rear of first floor, first floor otherwise
undivided, probably for shop or workshop use; C19 staircase
with cast-iron balusters in straight flight with winders at
bottom from first to second floor.
