Showroom and offices, formerly Public House. Late C18 with C20
alterations. Brick, now rendered to front and right side;
artificial slate roof to front range and rear wing; rendered
right-end stack with upper part in brick, truncated brick
left-end stack. Main front to Cricklade Street, entrance to
right side in Castle Street. 3-storey 3-window range. First
floor has 3 late C18 6/6-pane sashes in C20 moulded surrounds
in early C18 style with moulded cills. 3 similar 3/6-pane
sashes in similar surrounds to second floor. Ground floor has
C20 timber shopfront of 3 windows to front with glazing bars,
4 Doric pilasters, frieze and moulded cornice. Corner to right
is splayed with moulded bell in relief at first floor level.
Right side has 3 windows similar to front on each floor; C20
long window to centre is 3 x 8-pane fixed light with
individually-openable panes in similar shouldered surround.
Shopfront continuous with front with glazed door to centre.
INTERIOR not inspected but noted as having C20 staircase and
C20 alterations.
