Farmhouse.1680 and early C20. Coursed gritstone rubble with quoins. Gritstone dressings. Slate roof. Stone gable end stacks and rear wall stack. Two storeys.
Rear, north elevation has chamfered quoined doorcase with massive shouldered lintel inscribed 'ACK 1680'. To west recessed and chamfered two-light mullion window, probably C20, reusing old materials. Above original three-light recessed and chamfered window with two leaded lights. To west in recessed bay, two- light chamfered mullion window, also with leaded lights.
Front, south elevation, completely refronted in early C20.
