Farmhouse. I654 with C20 alterations. Whitewashed coursed gritstone rubble
with quoins. Gritstone dressings. Slate roof. Rendered gable end and ridge
stacks. Two storeys. Lobby entrance plan. South elevation - off-centre
doorcase with quoined surround. Lintel inscribed 'IORA 1654'. To east, formerly
six-light recessed and chamfered mullion window with C20 casements. Central
major mullion survives. Dripmould over with returned stops. To west C20
plate glass window in recessed and chamfered opening. Adjacent modern stone porch.
Dripmould over porch and window. Beyond to west plate glass window in,
formerly four-light, recessed and chamfered mullioned opening. Above three,
formerly four-light, recessed and chamfered windows, all with C20 casements.
East gable wall has three-light recessed and chamfered mullion window at first
floor level.
