Farmhouse and barn under continuous roof, now disused. Dated 1760. C19 addition. Coursed gritstone rubble, gritstone dressings. Stone slate roof, that to barn being slightly lower pitched, stone gable end and ridge stacks. Moulded wooden eaves gutter. Two storeys.
South elevation, off-centre doorcase with flush surround. Raised and fielded C19 panelled door. To either side three-light flush mullion windows. Beyond to west, C19 addition with glazing bar sash. To east, beyond house, barn with three flush surround doors. Over house door datestone with arched top inscribed 'MSM 1760'. To either side three similar windows to those below, in same arrangement.
