Dated 1710. Altered extended and renovated. Two and a half storeys, coursed
rubble with Cotswold stone roof. Two ashlar chimneys, central one dated

Cross gable to right with 2 light mullion window above two 2 light mullion
windows on first floor which have a common drip. Ground floor has a 3 light
mullion window with drip. Ledged C19 door to right. Two storey early to
mid-C19 extension to left: one range of 3 light casements, segmental-headed
on ground floor. The Spout from which the cottage takes its name is in
the boundary wall of the adjacent field to south.
