Dated S.T.M.1680 over entrance. Some alterations and restorations. Coursed
rubble. Cotswold stone roof, hipped to right, 'T'-plan ashlar chimney to
left with moulded capping. Three storeys and 5 hipped dormers with leaded
casements. Five x 2 windows with moulded stone mullions and transoms, also
4 glazing bar sashes in 2 right hand ground and first floor windows; continuous
drip-moulds; relieving arches over ground and first floor windows. Doorway
with architrave, pulvinated frieze and cambered broken pediment with date
(renewed). Reeded 6 flush panel door. Two oval windows in left hand gable.
Two storey C19 'L'-plan extension.
Interior: staircase with 3 arched hall screen, moulded string (uncut), turned
balusters (bobbin and reel type), dog-leg staircase with carved pendants and
ball-capped newels.
