Large detached villa. Early to mid C19, Rendered, with ashlaring on front
to road, asbestos-cement slate roof. Two parallel ranges with low-pitched
gabled roofs across - connected for form a compressed H-plan, and narrow section
flat roofing between wings; large eaves stack each side towards south, and
small ridge stacks north end. To south is 2 storeys, 3-windowed, the central
bay slightly recessed, 12-pane sashes first floor over tripartite sashes in
5+15+5 panes, with plain C20 glazed doors under open pediment on brackets,
centre; long-and short V-joint quoins to both gabled ends. To road is one
deep-set 12-pane sash over pair of 3 panel doors in moulded frame under steep-
pitched porth on brackets. At ground floor two 12-pane sashes and one 3-light
casement. On far side, ground level falls away, a bold hexagonal bay on cast
iron columns at basement level and a small oriel light.
Interior has contemporary doors and linings, and a stick baluster staircase.
