Dwelling, now offices. Late C17 or early C19. Rubble, rendered except front
elevation, sandstone plinth, brick dressings, long and short quoins, late C20
box eaves, concrete tile hipped roof. Long, narrow block, 2 storeys, 6-windowed,
not regularly spaced, mainly 12-pane glazing-bar sashes, but bars only to upper
sash in bays 2 and 4 first floor, and bays 4, 5 and 6 ground floor are casements.
Centrally a large 4-column Roman Doric portico with flat entablature and responds
up 5 steps, to two 3-panelled doors under elliptical fanlight. At back is
arched sash stair window.
Interior: Board room, ground floor left, has C19 cornice, circular ceiling
decoration, two elliptical-head recesses. Moulded cornice in entrance hall.
