GV II


Barn; mid C19; random rubble stone walls, with larger, squared
quoins, slate roof. 5 bay with central threshing floor. Doors
have heavy timber frame, stopping below eaves, with weatherboarding
above. Two tiers of three ventilation slits each side of doors:
circular owl-holes in gables, one end built into slope of hill with
shuttered pitching eye. King post roof trusses, with iron bolts
to king-post.
