House. Early C17. Timber framed and plastered with thatched half hipped roof.
One storey and attics of 'L' plan form with 2 gabled dormers in front roof
slope. Off-centre small gault brick stack and similar stack against west gable
end. A C19 gabled slate roof rear extension and C20 casements. Projecting
front block has a door and old 3 light casement window. Internally the frame is
exposed showing straight bracing, halved and bridled scarf joints and inserted
inglenook stack. Possible very late open hall house. East end frame is
reversed assembly and later end bay on projecting front block. Remains of C17
window above west end tie beam, with moulded cill and central square section
mullion.
