Pair of cottages now divided into 3 dwellings. C17. Timber-framed with painted
brick infill panels and partly rebuilt in brick, painted in imitation of
timber-framing; plain-tile roof; brick central stack, and brick integral end
stack to the left, sandstone external end stack to the right with brick shaft.
4-cell range aligned east-west facing south. 2 storeys; 3 tiers of square panels
and straight braces. Slightly irregular fenestration of 4 ground floor windows
with segmental heads and 5 first floor windows; C19 and C20 casements. 3 plank
doors within segmental-headed doorways. The right hand gable end has an exposed
queen strut roof truss carrying 2 pairs of purlins. Interior: chamfered and
stopped ceiling beams.
