Farmhouse. Late C17 with later alterations and extensions. Coursed limestone
rubble. Steeply pitched C20 tile roofs. Brick end stack on stone base. Stone
lateral stack to right. 2 storey plus attic . 5-window range. U-plan. Slightly
recessed main block with side wings. Ground floor has a renewed 3-light
stone-mullioned window, two C20 French doors, a small stone-framed window and a
3-light stone-mullioned window to right. First floor has 2- and 3-light
stone-mullioned windows and a wood casement with wood lintel. 5 dormers, 2
gable-front dormers and 3 roof dormers. All stone mullions without hood moulds
and label stops. Interior: wide inglenook fireplace with chamfered beam.
Stop-chamfered beam. Said to have timber frame revealed on interior.
