C18. Two storeys painted brick. Hipped tiled roof with 2 dormers and large
brick chimney stack, modillion eaves cornice. No 42 has a separate hip and
was probably added at a later date. Two cambered sashes with glazing bars
intact and one blank. Later window to No 42. Ground floor has 2 C19 shop-
fronts and No 40 has a simple doorcase.
