C17 or earlier timber-framed range refaced with modern stucco and the first
floor of No 39 tile-hung, the whole oversailing. Tiled roof. Four sashes
with vertical glazing bars intact. Three light bays on the ground floor.
The house originally had a hayloft running the whole length of the first floor.
