in Parish of Newchurch)

II
Partly in Newchurch Civil Parish (Shepway District), and also described
under that parish (item No. 2/87 ). House. Early C19 facade to
earlier core. Timber framed and part exposed to right return with brick
infill, and clad with red brick, with painted brick and tile hanging
to rear wings. Plain tiled roof. Two storeys with coped parapet to
hipped roof with stacks to rear left and clustered to end right.
Three glazing bar sashes on each floor, with keystones on ground floor.
Offcentre half-glazed door with semi-circular surround with imposts
and keystone. Stone tablet in right end gable inscribed: "The boundary
of Newchurch Parish confirmed at the Sessions at Canterbury on the
11th day of July 1820".
