Farmhouse
II
House. Early C18. Part timber framed and clad and fronted with red
and blue chequered brickwork. Plain tiled roof. Two storeys on plinth
with corbelled brick eaves to roof with stacks at end left and end right.
Regular fenestration of 3 wooden casements on 1st floor and 2 on ground
floor with cambered heads. Central panelled door, the top section
glazed, in C20 gabled porch. Integral catslide outshot to rear.
Interior: framed partitions and rear wall to catslide, and posts to main
range. Possibly a (slightly) earlier framed structure clad/rebuilt
in brick. Inglenook and coved overmantel to parlour fireplace.
Staggered purlin roof.
