Terrace of 7 houses. 1938. By J. Lomax Simpson. Brick
with tile-hung 1st floor and tile roof. 2 storeys, 13 bays,
5 end bays canted forward. 2nd, 7th, 8th, 9th and 12th bays
project under jettied gables. 3rd to 6th and 10th and 11th
bays have jettied 1st floors. Windows have leaded
casements; those to ground floor of 1,2,3 or 4 lights; 6th
and 11th bays have half-canted bay window, hipped roofs
swept out from tile-hanging, 1st floor has mostly 3-light
windows, 9th bay has 5-light window and 10th and 11th bays
have paired asymmetrical gablets. Entrances have plank
doors and small-paned lights, those to 4th and 5th bays in
brick-nogged half-canted porches, those to 8th and 9th bays
have swept-out canopies. Lateral stack to angle; 4 cross-
axial stacks. Right return has one-storey hipped
projection. Rear has flat-roofed projections.
