Farmhouse and cottage, now all one, with attached barn. Early C19 of 2 builds.
Coursed squared stone, stone slate roof. Laithe house plan. 2 storeys, 2-bay farm-
house, l-bay cottage, 3-bay barn. Openings have plain stone surrounds, windows with
flat-faced mullions. House on left has doorway and on each floor a 3-light window to
left and 4-light window to right on ground floor the mullions removed and c.1980 pent
stone outshut masking door and right hand window. Central ridge stack. Cottage on
right has blocked door, now with window to right, a 3-light window to each floor and
stack to right end. Between cottage and barn on far right is a ragged joint indicat-
ing different building dates. Barn has central arched cart entry with tie stones;
round-arched window above; mistal door to right end.
