Lock and accommodation bridge over Kennet and Avon Canal. 1794-
1799. J.Rennie, chief engineer. Brick faced lock with stone
copings. Restored upper and lower timber gates, the upper with
side paddles, lower with BWB arm mounted gear. Bridge below lower
gate, red brick oval arch of 1 1/2 bricks Blue string course and
parapet with flush half-round copings and stone end blocks. Bridge
splayed on plan. Lock and bridge form a group.
