Barn. Dated 1630. Hammer-dressed stone, dressed quoins, stone slate
roof. 5-bay, single-aisled barn with tall square-headed cart-entry
set in a portal of aisle to south. Set within the re-entrant angle,
doorways to aisle which have composite jambs and stop-chamfered
surrounds. Similar doorways to either end; that to left has dated
lintel and is blocked. 2 arrow-slit ventilators to left of cart-entry,
garage doorway inserted to right. Rear has cart-entry with composite
jambs with stop-chamfer and wooden lintel. To right is single-light
window with arched lintel with sunken spandrels. Right gable has
2-light double-chamfered mullioned window set in apex.
Interior: good timbered roof with king-post trusses with single-angle
struts; posts on padstones with curved braces to tie-beams and arcade-
plate.
