Farmhouse, probably C16. 2 storeys and attics. 3-cell cross-passage entrance
plan. Timber-framed and plastered, with some later underbuilding in painted
brick. plaintiled roof with internal and end chimneys of red brick. Various
C19 and C20 casements. 2-storey timber-framed gabled entrance porch of
c.1600; early C19 4-centred arched doorway with reeded architrave. Inner
entrance door with 6 panels, the lower fielded, the upper pair glazed. A
gabled stair tower to the rear of the hall/parlour chimney, also c.1600; the
flanking rear outshuts probably added C19.
