Two Cottages approx 60 metres
north of The Willows

House, now 2 dwellings. Early C17, extended and altered C19. Timber frame with
clay lump addition. Plastered with some red brick casing. Thatched roof with
glazed pantiled additions. 3 cells with 1 bay added to right. 2 storeys.
Boarded doors towards left and at original right end, 2 and 3-light timber and
metal frame glazing bar casements, ground floor hoodboards. Ridge stack to right
of centre on main roof. To right added bay has a shallow pitch to roof with
an internal end stack. Left gable end is C19 red brick with an extruded stack
in front of ridge, first floor segmental headed 2-light casement. An entrance
in left end of a C19 brick pantiled continuous lean-to outshut to rear. Interior:
frame largely concealed, to right a stop chamfered axial binding beam and reverse
curved braces in end wall.
