A C16 and C17 timber-framed and plastered house with later alterations.
There are cross wings on the north and south ends, with jettied upper
storeys on exposed joists and shaped brackets. The timber-framing is
exposed on the front, with modern brick nogging. 2 storeys. 3 window
range, 3-light double-hung sashes with glazing bars, fluted mullions and
cornices. A large gabled porch projects on the front (said to have been
brought from the West Midlands and added to the front). It has carved
bargeboards, and corner posts with carved figures of a man and woman.
On the north and south sides there are 5 Tudor arched side lights. The
porch bears the date 1610. The house is considerably altered at the rear.
