A timber-framed house with cross wings at the north and south ends. The
north cross wing and centre range is of C16 date and the south cross wing
was probably added in the C17. Almost completely refronted in red brick
in the C19. A panel in the south gable bears the date 1881. 2 storeys.
4 window range, double-hung sashes with glazing bars, in moulded brick
reveals with serrated ornamental segmental heads. The outer windows are
3-light. The south wing has a 6-panel door with a shallow fanlight, pilasters
and a cornice. There are 2 modern shop windows on the ground storey and
a C19 shop front on the north cross wing, altered into office premises.
Roofs tiled. The gables have C19 ornamental bargeboards. The interior
has moulded ceiling beams and joists in the ground storey of the north
wing.
