II
Farmhouse, now house, C17 and C19. Knapped flint and limestone
ashlar chequerwork. Right side elevation of brick, tiled roof.
Two storeys, 'L'-plan, 3 x 2 bays extended to rear-by further 2
bays. South front has central 6-panelled door with overlight and
flat timber canopy on brackets. Plate glass sash windows with
ashlar voussoir lintels, the keystone expressed. Twelve-paned
sashes to first floor. For full length of front, a cast iron
verandah with shaped felted timber roof. C19 timber windows to
east elevation. West elevation of stone, with reset datestone
reading 1618. Roof hipped, with brick stacks.
