House. Late Cl6. Random limestone rubble; thatched roof; stone stack. Single
unit plan. 2 storeys; 2-window range. Timber lintel over C20 door; flat roofed
porch c.1980. Concrete lintel over C20 two-light casement left of door; timber
lintels, one chamfered, over 2 late C19 two-light casements. Gabled roof;
external gable end stack to left. C18 one-light leaded casement to left of gable
wall. Interior: Axial ovolo-moulded beam with rolled stop. Chamfered and stopped
bressumer over blocked open fireplace. Newel stairs adjoining stack;
ovolo-moulded door jamb at top of stairs with fine carved decoration. 2-bay
common-rafter roof. A good example of a small late C16 house.
