Farmhouse. Early C18 with mid-C19 alterations and additions.
Flemish bond brick, tiled roof with brick end stacks. House with
outshut and later additions to rear. 2-storey, 3-window front is
mid C19 refacing of early C18 front. Central 6-panelled and glazed
door in wooden arched flat-roofed porch, to either side are 3-light
segmental-headed casements; to left is late C18 single storey one-
bay extension with cast-iron French windows and C20 dormer to tiled
roof. First floor has three 2-light segmental-headed casements,
the centre bay slightly projects. To either side of front are
plain pilasters, stepped brick cornice. Left return has C20 window
to ground floor. C19 extension to rear of left return. Right
return in Flemish bond brick with 3-brick plat band to 1st floor
and one blocked window on both floors. To rear is late C18 2-
storey extension in centre; 4-light casement to ground floor,
first floor has one 3-light wooden casement with leaded panes,
hipped roof. To left of rear is C19 gabled extension of 2 storeys
with 4-pane sashes on both floors.
Interior: Has newel stairs with turned balusters in central
entrance hall and chamfered ceiling beams to ground floor, doors
with fielded panels.
