Old Thatch (formerlylisted as Nos. 17, 18,19, 20, 21).

House, and part of another. Built as one house in early C17 or perhaps C16.
3-cell cross-entry plan. 2 storeys. Timber-framed and plastered. Thatched
roof (the left hand cell, now part of No.59, has a slightly lower pitch
indicating a different construction date). An axial chimney of C17 buff
brick, the upper shaft rebuilt in mid C20 red brick. An C18 external gable
chimney of red brick to right. Mid C20 casements, those at No.61 with small
panes. Mid C20 boarded and battened door with glazed panel, probably at
cross-entry position. Interior not examined.
