Formerly the Crown and Anchor Inn A timber-framed and plastered building
with C17 and C18 external features but probably of earlier origin. Roof
tiled (old tiles). There is a cross wing at the east end. One storey,
attics and cellars. The windows are partly small casements and partly
small double-hung sashes (C19). Ridge chimney stack and 2 gabled dormers
on the front. The interior has large exposed ceiling beams and open
fireplaces. The cellars are very old.
