Former stables, late C18 or early C19, converted to house c1900.
Squared rubble stone with ashlar dressings and stone slate half-
hipped roof. c1900 added ashlar stacks with diagonal shafts.
Picturesque Gothick north west front with projecting and canted centre,
ground floor 3-light window with pointed lights and hoodmould and
first floor pointed former loading door with hood. To each side is
a depressed-arched doorway with hoodmould and quatrefoil light
over. Bead-mouldings to all openings. Added c1900 small lancet by
each door. South end single storey c1900 addition with single
lancet and balustrade. Two-storey north end addition in two
sections with recessed centre, lancet lights to match original
building. Stable may originally have been built for Winsley House
which has a similar Gothick window on an outbuilding, the rest
