A C15 timber-framed and plastered building completely refronted in the
C18. Roofs tiled, the front block is hipped at the north-west and south-east
ends. Two storeys and attics. Six window range of double hung sashes
with glazing bars and a Doric doorcase with plain columns, frieze and
cornice. The main block has a moulded wood eaves cornice. A 2 storeyed
wing extends to the north-east on Prentice Street with the timber-framing
exposed on the upper storey and there are some old windows (restored).
The ground storey has a splayed bay with double hung sashes with glazing
bars at the south-west end and a cart entrance at the north-east end.
There are good interior features.
