House. Probably early C17, incorporating C16 cruck frame to left return.
Rendered plinth; large timber framing with rendered infill; thatch roof; brick
ridge stack to left of centre. Originally 3-unit lobby-entry plan, 2-storey,
6-bay range. Plank door to right of centre. Blocked doorway to left of centre.
Irregular fenestration of casements, all with leaded lights. Window to first
floor right of centre has diagonally set wood mullions. Left return: C16 cruck
frame, probably formerly part of demolished adjoining cottage. C20 porch, to
left, with C20 plank door. Interior: open fireplaces to ground floor left and
centre, chamfered spine beams with ogee end stops to ground floor. Queen post
roof construction. Fragmentary remains of C17 wall paintings to dining room at
ground floor centre.
