Former farmhouse. C17, in 2 phases. Timber framed, roughcast-rendered; roof
clad in corrugated iron, replacing thatch. 3-cell form. 2 storeys. Mid C20
standard casement windows to ground floor, C19 cross-paned casements to upper
floor. Lobby entrance has semi-glazed panelled door and simple mid C20 open
porch. Internal stack has axial shaft of narrow brick. Pantiled rear lean-
to. Interior. Original house in 3 bays: plain studding with evidence for
diamond-mullioned windows; cambered tie beam over service partition. One-bay
addition at parlour end in later C17. Roof timbers concealed.
