House. c1800. Red brick and Welsh slate roof with brick central ridge and
right end stacks. 2 storeys of 3 3-light windows, the lower part of central
light a sliding sash. Ground floor central window similar, with
centre-opening 3-light casement to left and 5-light canted bay to right
(leaded lights). Cambered lintels except for bay which has Swithland slate
hipped roof. On far right a wooden doorcase with boarded 6-panelled door
(top panels glazed). Inside is an inglenook fireplace with spice
cupboards. Formerly the Old Crown Inn.
