The Oak House and The Malt House
II
Two houses. C17 with mid-C19 and C20 alterations. Timber-frame with
painted brick and rendered infill, half-hipped tile roof. L-plan, range
extending to west of four framed bays, rear wing to south. North front:
one storey with attics lit by one plus two gabled dormers; ground floor:
one plus two casements, mostly of three lights, entrance to Oak House at
extreme left, Malt House entered to right of centre, both with ledged
doors; all ground-floor openings have plank weatherings. Framing: three
square panels high.
