Scarthingmoor Mill Farm House

Farmhouse. c.1810. Brick with hipped pantile roof. Plinth, first floor and eaves
bands, deep eaves, 2 side wall and single rear wall stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays, square
plan. North east front has pedimented central bay. Central glazing bar casement with
fanlight, flanked by single Yorkshire sashes. Above, 3 Yorkshire sashes. All sashes
have rubbed brick heads. To left, C20 brick and timber porch. West side has 2
C20 metal casements on each floor. Rear addition has catslide roof and C20 lean-
to brick and plastic porch. To left, casement with segmental head, and door to
right. Above, C20 gabled dormer with a casement. Interior has 4 chamfered span
beams, fitted glazed cupboard, and winder stairs with square newels.
