Disused road bridge. Probably late C18, widened upstream early-mid C19.
Rusticated ashlar and coursed rubble red sandstone. Single segmental arch,
of ashlar and with even voussoirs and slab hoodmould on downstream side,
rusticated ashlar on upstream side. On both sides, C19 battered buttresses
flanking abutments, all in rusticated ashlar. Band below parapet, which is
built in narrower courses. Abutments in coursed rubble, terminate in
circular bollards. The bridge has been bypassed by a more modern road
bridge. Partly in the Civil Parish of Stapleton.
