Lime kiln. Probably C18. Coursed squared stone, built into bank. Half-
octagonal with parapet. 3 fire holes corbelled up to a steep triangular shape.
Central firehole retains its iron furnace doors, as does left one. Brick fire-
backs. On either side walls abut kiln, plain on left with 3 battered buttresses
and incorporating a small shed and a flight of steps giving access to top of
kiln. Right abutment curves round hill slope and also incorporates steps to
upper level.
