Mill and house, C18. Coursed squared stone. Pantiled roof, correctly restored.
Stone copings and stepped square kneelers. Rebuilt brick right end stack. Two
storeys, 3 bays in main building, with a cross-gabled left mill wing 2 bays wide.
Upper part of main building is house. Between 2 left bays of main building an
external stack offset at eaves level. To right of this a double boarded door,
giving on to low platform up 3 steps. Semi-circular relieving arch above.
Ground floor otherwise blank. On first floor 3 replaced sash windows with
glazing bars in wood architraves. Modern small-paned casements behind. Cross
wing, in ruinous state at time of survey, has boarded openings and a Dutch door
up 5 stone steps. Pent left wheelhouse extension and front projection with
wagon entrances. Queen post roof trusses to mill building . Wheel housing and
shaft remain, though wheel has gone.
