5/19 Lower Noar Hill Farmhouse

House, formerly 2 cottages. C17, early C18, and early C19. Long rectangular
block of several phases, with a west front of 1 storey and attic, 4 above 6
windows. ½ hipped thatched roof, 2 stacks. North of the centre there is
exposed timber-framing with brick infill: and to its south is brick walling in
Flemish bond, with 1st floor band, rubbed flat arches, and plinth; at each end
there is a brick extension of the early C19 in Flemish bond with blue headers,
one with a flint plinth. Casements. 2 plain doorways. There is a rear extension
in brickwork, and the south gable is tile-hung with scalloped bands.
